I'm looking to "short" an Irish stock...
While it may be unethical is it possible to do with a broker here in Ireland?

Searching the net it can be done with hedge funds who from what I can see will short a lot of different stocks in one sector.

I want to short 1 stock in particular... Is that possible with an Irish broker?

    Any advice appreciated..

Theres nothing unethical about shorting stocks, its part of trading. Shorting creates short covering rallys and provides investors funds to invest in stocks after they have fallen.

Your easiest option would be Spread Trading with somebody like IG Index. Take a short position with your company and USE A STOP. If its your first time doing something like this, avoid temptation and place a very small position, know your risk, define it and stick to it.

Also - tell me the company, im intrigued :)
