I have old furniture, been outside for about 20 years and two years ago we painted it all (Cuprinol garden paint in bright colours) and it seemed OK. But this week we broke an arm and a slate form a chair. I'm happy to replace the wood. Ive just made some furniture from free wood pallets, it was well sanded and painted and I will be very happy if we get three years out of it.
