Any recommendations for a long weekend, end of Aug/beginning of Sept?

So a few of us have decided to head away for a long weekend to mark a mates birthday celebrations.

His birthday is at the end of August, so we will wanna be going away either last weekend in Aug (26th-29th) or the first weekend in Sept (fri2nd-mon 5th).

Initially, I have been thinking on Poland, not sure what city though, hence why I'm posting here.

    But ideally, open to suggestions.

Flights will be from Dublin. A few lads aged between early 30s-40s.

I was hoping for something that is reasonable enough to get there, and accommodation reasonable too.

Fairly reasonable whilst there also a big factor.

Hopefully with a keenly priced pint of beer. :)

Seaside etc not important. I imagine it'll be pretty much a weekend of pub crawls and sessions.

    Any suggestions?

    Barcelona or Madrid.
Both great spots, stuff to see if you're that way inclined, pubs open to near morning time.

Gdansk, if the flight schedules allow it. Sopot is a great spot in September. Krakow is OK too, but not the big summer destination that Sopot is.
