Ryanair cannot check in for return flight?

    I have a flight with Ryanair and I can't get my boarding passes on for the return flight. What's going on there?

    Can you still check in the old fashioned way (going to the counter at the airport, check in and get your boarding pass) with Ryanair? Alicante is the returning airport.

    Maybe you are too early for the return flight to check in?

    Yes I see now, it's too early to check in now. This is for my parents and they are computer illiterate. Can they check in at the airport for their boarding passes?

    They can but they will be charged, it's €45 to do at the airport. The other option is they can check in on their phone. You can checkin 30 days before the flight so unless they are going for over 4 weeks you should be able to do it all for them before they leave.

    Can you pay to check them in early for the return?

    If they can access email at all, you could check them in and email them pdfs of the boarding passes which they could then get printed in an internet cafe.

    That said, I have never come across an Internet cafe abroad where someone did not help with airline checking in.
