St Patrick's Gateway Community Centre on Patrick Street has started an activities club and are now looking for members. Membership is only €5 per month

We are based in St Patrick's Church on Patrick Street and are now open since the 2nd of May this year. We have snooker, pool, table tennis, mini badminton, mini tennis & mini volleyball as well as bowls and two rooms for board-game battles.

We will be running it on a membership basis, the first 20 to sign up will get free membership for 3 months and the first month free to use the facilities.

We also allow groups in at a discount price if they do not wish to become members. It will be open from 10am until 11pm Monday to Saturday and booking in advance is advised.

There will be an adult on duty at all times to help with any questions and to oversee the activities.

The number to ring to inquire more is 051 843589

Is this only for kids/teenagers? Just wondering by the comment re adult on duty at all times?

Not too many options to play snooker in town any more but wouldn't want to rock up and look like an oddball!

    Hi Guys

Its for all ages, but mainly adults as we want it to be used as often as possible. The kids/teens comment regarding an adult always on duty is more to do with children's parties & schools.

We need members presently as its just opened, and remember the first 20 get 3 months free membership & the first months usage FREE. So why not try it out and see what you think. You can ring us on 051 843589 or call in to us and have a chat.
