hi guys sorry now prob seems like a stupid question, the father bought an old rotivator off a fella he knows (dont know the make or model but its a small one 40" or so) its old but has very little work done. my question is i checked the gearbox for oil yesterday and thaught it was low so i put gear oil into it but noticed when i started putting the oil in it started to leak out the front where you attach the pto. is this normal? or is there a seal or something gone? I assumed the gearbok would be something similar to that of a topper or something that you could fill it right up?

Thanks sorry never owned one before and dont want to use it until i get some sort of feedback.

Could be a seal gone, is there a level plug on it anywhere? Any pics? Someone here will be able to point it out to you.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.
