An exercise in pure greed. A TV show on the national broadcaster promoting unadulterated capitalist greed. Lining five pockets with even more money.

Could also be seen as promoting innovation and entrepeneurship. It depends on how positive or negative one's outlook is.

Not at all, just flicking through and came across it, and I thought, how many times have I heard one of them say.... 'nice idea, but it's not for me'....or... 'I'm out, but I wish you well'.....or.... 'not my area and for that reason, I'm out'

Picking 5 people to judge peoples innovations or business ideas on the basis of how much they can cream off for themselves.

    As I said, it's just a rant....

They're investing their own money... why would anyone knowingly make a bad bet? That's would not be a display of altruism, it would be stupidity or at best charity.

Unfortunately the communist model doesn't work very well so we have to live with the smart people earning all the money. It's sad but reality. Money makes money, unfortunate for you or I out father and their fathers before them obviously never seriously succeeded in life in money terms of course.

I like this show but in fairness the 'inventions' are mostly different kinds of crisps or different type book to read to your kids.Real innovation is thin on the ground with this show to date.
