I'm aware that many teachers - especially those in secondary schools - accepted the Haddington Road deal because of concerns about job security and pay.

Surely, the integrity of the teaching profession is bigger than any particular teacher. Those veteran secondary teachers - voluntary and vocational - who are determined to oppose the Landsdowne Road deal should say to younger colleagues who consider themselves grateful to have employment, "If you accept the Croke Park hours, the working conditions will deteriorate to the point at which you'll prefer to pursue a career in teaching in Canada, Australia or Dubai".
