Netflix has stopped working on my apple devices

Up to a week ago, Netflix worked fine on my iPad and Apple TV box. However since last week, it refuses to play on either device. I get the Netflix home screen but when I select a programme, it won't load and I get an error message saying contact Netflix. Now my internet is working fine (only 8MB per second but Netflix only needs 2MB to work), I've updated the firmware in both the Apple TV box and iPad and I've no issue streaming anything else from the net. I contacted Netflix and after 20 minutes of running their tests, still nothing happening.

    Any ideas?

My first suspicion would be Geospoofing as above.

Well as a complete Neanderthal when it comes to tech stuff, I wouldn't have a clue how to even start geosurfing or whatever it's called. When I rang Netflix, they did do a check for VPN and when I asked them what that was, they said it was to do with people trying to access different regions but they confirmed that I wasn't doing that.

So I'm stuck paying for a service I can't get.

    No you're not. Cancel it.

I bet Netflix are getting a false positive on roaming. What does the alert actually say?

I get several different messages from "Netflix isn't available" to an error code that I read off to the Netflix guy but I don't think he knew what it was. I think if I cancel it and reapply it might clear things up.

What's the error code? It might be an internal apple code.

"errAuth" whatever that means. I've restored the apple to box and updated the firmware but no luck. The fact that I can't get Netflix on my iPad either now makes me think the problem is with Netflix and not my devices.

Have you tried connecting on a different WiFi network? Do you have a friend or neighbour's house you could go to and try connecting using your iPad?

Well it seems like an authorisation error. Odd that you would get that after you get logged in since you should be authorised of course.
