Tom passed away in Portugal last night. Tom was a gent, and a great ambassador for Sea Angling. He was previously Chairman of IFSA and the Angling Council of Ireland. On a personal level he gave some friends and I great encouragement to start Sea Angling Ireland SAC. He will be missed by many, many people, both in Ireland and abroad. Condolences to his family and friends. May he Rest in Peace.
    John

Over the years I met Tom many times through angling politics. I would agree 100% with Zzippy that he was a gentleman. May he rest in peace.
