I hadn't noticed before that Street View of the airport now includes airside including all the runways open and closed, the Bravos, ramps and even inside the Terminals. Even if the area is not showing in blue you can still get in, e.g., Pier D and 11/29 with good ol' EI-STA on it.

You can also tour inside EI-LBT St Brendan (757) which is parked up near 411R.

Yet it's illegal to use photographic equipment airside?

Illegal to take photos without permission surely?

Without an airside pass with a photographers permit on it.

Is this part of Pier 2 still used? I've never been down there before and it looks very old compared to the rest of the gates.

The OTCB is still used but as remote gates only and ocs use it for their lift on lift off area.
Also not much can be done as the building is a listed building.

They obviously had permission as their escort vehicle can be seen behind on the perimeter roads (at least).

Get to 53°25'22.10"N 6°14'21.59"W and drop the yellow fella onto or just south of the yellow marking line.

Can't add an attachment for some reason.

It's not actually Street View. It's a 'See Inside' view (marked on Google Maps by an orange circle instead of the usual blue). Only the business class cabin is shown.

The gates in the old terminal were used extensively for EI Regional prior to the bus gates in the old Pier C opening. I presume the coffee shop there has long since closed though!

edit: I can't even see where it was on Streetview. Also all the photos of the airport in the 30s-60s that were there are gone - there are similar or the same in T2 now though.

I see the LCD destination board above check in areas 7&8(?) is still there on street view, but not in the airport itself.

    When did that come down?

    Late October last year.

I absolutely loved that when I was younger. I remember gazing up at it, seeing all the different destinations, thinking how exotic they all were. I think it may have changed a few times, but I'm sad to see it has gone.

Most of my recent flying has been from T2.
