Upvc window lock keys

    Can anyone please tell me if upvc window lock keys are universal, have just moved into a house and am missing the keys for the windows.

    Not universal but very easy to open, a key cutting place should be able to give you one or two that should do the job.

    Ask a friend to try theirs, see if it works, a suitcase key often works.

    If it's a new /modern proper lock, look down the seam of the window for a make.

    Post a picture of the handle. I should be able to tell you what key you need. I have a selection of Window keys on my website.

    Ive added a few pics, we have a few that dont need keys, is it difficult to change them over.

    Yep I have keys for those handles. I'll pm you my website.

    When you say that there are a few handles that don't need keys. Do you mean there is no lock in the handle? Blank where the lock would be? Are they in the bedroom windows Bedroom windows can't be lockable for fire safety

    Yeah, in the bedrooms but also in one of the sitting rooms, thanks for the help.

    Its a handle with nothing where the key would go, a solid handle
