I have a 05 focus mk2 1.6 petrol ghia saloon with a partially collapsed driver seat base(pretty big previous owner)

Starting to have lower back pain recently and I want to fix it.

Car has side airbags but they are not integrated to seats.

Do you think I can swap the driver seat with one from the scrapyard without throwing any code in ecu ?

I am just suspecting about weight sensor in other seat may need to be coded with ecu.

    Anyone did it before ?

    Yes, you can swap over.
    Before you start, disconnect battery.
The ECU should pick up the new seat with no bother.

Edit, found a video for ya
