Is it true all phones in Carphone Warehouse come unlocked?

    No unless you are buying a simple free phone. All phones will have the branding of the network when you start the phone up.

    I don't know about the Irish shops, but in the UK most of their phones are unlocked. It might be worth looking into ordering from the UK and using Parcel Motel.

    I think it's only iphones that lock to the network of the first SIM you put in. AFAIK Android phones will just stay unlocked if they're unlocked to start with.

    Yes its true, except for the ones that are not unlocked.
