Where in Tallaght/Clondalkin to live/avoid?

    I'm currently having a browse on Daft at houseshares in Tallaght, as I'm starting a new job there soon, however I don't know the area at all. Any suggestions for general areas to look at or avoid? Needs to be an easy commute on public transport to the Square.

    Would also consider Clondalkin (or somewhere in between the two) if there's public transport options available. However Tallaght would probably be my preference.

    I would look at any where in the red luas line as this brings you directly to the square. It also goes on to Saggart if you want to go a bit further out. Areas like Kingswood in tallaght on the luas line would be a nice area. However if I was looking I would stay somewhere in village/around the Square in Tallaght as accommodation looks modern and lots of restaurants and pubs there plus luas as I've already mentioned into the city.

    I live in Clondalkin and there plenty be of areas within walking distance of luas that are quiet nice.
