Tax Efficient Route to College Fund

    Hi folks,

I'm semi self-employed (I have a part time PAYE job and a business (limited company)).

I want to set up a college fund for each of my kids. I would want it to mature in perhaps 5-8 years time.

What is the most tax efficient way to do this? In the next couple of years I reckon the business would make above what we'd need to live on and I would like to use this surplus to set up this fund if it would be possible.

I assume that putting the money into a pension fund wouldn't really work because by the time I retire, it will be no use to my kids.

    Anyone any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance
