    That's all well and good but car manufacturers need to produce a lot more models, not everyone wants a small hatch nor is it suitable for larger families.

    1 in 10 cars bought there were electric, you wouldn't think that
    nearly one in 10 cars bought [ in the Netherlands ] last year using electric power.

    It's because of their "VRT" which makes ours look positively benign and you will also notice that most private car are petrol because of the huge road tax on diesel cars.
