The Ring Is King 10/1 6.40 Killbeggan.Strange to see a Jeremy that acts on good or faster but The Ring is King can do exactly that.If he can lay handy on this track he is a player as it's got only a 50 yrd straight .Betfair put up Ulysses 5/2 were swamped in seconds now 4/7 4.15 Newbury.Bookie just layed me 20/1 for an unraced son of Galileo to win the Coventry at Royal Ascot and 40/1 for 2017 Derby,Finn maccool.Derek Smith told a journo friend to watch this horse so for small money let's wait and see.

Red Devil Lads in the last at Aintree looks overpriced at 20/1 with William Hill.

Have taken the 25s on offer at pp for MAJOR VALENTINE 8.35 hamilton. Was 3rd of 13 off 68 in a class 5 gd/fm when last on the turf. Drops to class 6 and also down to a mark of 64. Also makes a near 700m round trip.
    Hopefully its worth it

Be The Hero is the lay of the year in Kilbeggan. This horse has no chance. 2/1 now, it will be 6/1 by race time. He is stone wall useless and his rating of 121 is a joke. The horse couldnt have a worse combo than sharp track and fast ground. Will be tailed off.

Have Mullionheir in the 3:10, this one was a revelation for John Best last season and looks like there could be further improvement on the card. It's obviously raring to go, as it's been entered in a whole pile of races over the last few weeks, but condition were not right until today. I suspect current favourite Englishman will be the big threat even with a penalty.

Cocktails At Dawn in the 7:35 didn't look at all out of place in the Topham early on in the season. We didn't get to see the best of the horse that day as it fell, but I wouldn't be at all surprised to see it come in here today, stepping down in class as it does.

Yesterday was a complete and utter disaster for me. Couldn't seem to pick a winner, let's hope today is a different story.

The two I'm going for today is Cunco in the 2.00 Newmarket and Hardy Black in the 8.00 Dundalk. I can see the latter going off way shorter than it is now, so if you are getting on it then place your bets early.

Fire Fighting in the 4:40 has an awful weight on its back today, but generally when it steps down in class. At 14/1 though, I think this is worth a decent e/w chance. You only need to look at the form and prize money that this fella has won (still only a 5 year old too) to see it's probably the most proven horse in the race. If Barsanti fails to live up to the hype, it might even win.

Desert Force has generously been dropped 2lbs by the handicapper from last time and runs today off a mark of 90. Won his maiden over course and distance and this time last year was runner up to the 83 rated Twilight Son in a Newmarket handicap who's now rated 117, and finished a length and a quarter ahead of Magical Memory when giving him 7lbs who is now rated 118. Not sure this race is as competitive as it looks on paper and is worth chancing at 16/1 but not one for max faith

God that weakened worryingly quick having been backed. You'd have done well to pick that filly at York that won the opener

Not too sure she looked good there alright but that looked a bad race. Rishi on about how good the race looked it looked woeful, second fav won a handicap off 85 or something last time and she never settled

Going to give Benidiction a chance in the first race at Hamilton. Was heavily backed on debut but found nothing and weakened tamely as if something was amiss. Yard usually does well with juveniles so I'll take a chance at 28s.

8 horses were badly injured at the dump tonight.HRI are furious with my opinions on track bias and discussions are ongoing but expect an injunction shortly.I write everything I believe to be true but It rubs the cosy cartels big time.KILLbeggan is a Shocking track why do trainers support it is a staggering imponderable maybe it's a track to stop a horse.Roscommon lost its Sunday Meeting to the absolute objections from top flat trainers and the complete Idiot rolled out to my queries by HRI is Like Del boy in Only Fools By Horses.
