Remedial work after laying mains

    Hi folks.

    Over the last 8 weeks or so,contractors on behalf of IW have done a lot of work on the South Circular Road in Limerick on mains pipes.

    Unfortunately, the current state of both the road and paths where the contractors were digging are pretty poor, and the contractors appear to be finished.

    Can ye check/confirm that better road and path repairs will take place?

    Hi Wise Old Elf,

    Thanks for your query.

    The roads will be repaired after these works are complete.

    The road will be repaired to its original condition, however we usually have to do a temporary refill of the work site to allow the ground to settle for a few weeks before completing full reinstatement.
