There's a few ideas on Utube

Product's probably available from B&Q or simular outlets.

Had this problem about 3 weeks ago (theres a post here somewhere). I used washing powder. Scrub it in with a brush and leave it a day or 2. Wash it away and repeat. Works but I don't think anything gets its decently clean. There are plenty of products but the oil must be really fresh I read.

Coca Cola - the phosphoric acid in Coke will dissolve the oil stain.
Just pour it on and leave it for about 5 mins and then scrub.

The problem then is the one clean patch left in the middle of your drive.

Yeah Coke, or washing up liquid.

Brake cleaner if you have it.

i thought you guys were taking the mickey about coca cola ..but it actually does work

but as mentioned the bit thats cleaned looks out of place to the rest but i suppose after a few week it will blend in again

If there a two sided brick, lift and turn it over.. Or for what you will spend on time trying to clean, just replace.. Cobblestone cost 65c to 1.80 each.
