    Evening All

Any suggestions for a good place in Dublin to buy helmets - just normal commuting and leisure use. My grandson has outgrown his Superman one...so I need one for him and one for me.

Just in case there was one obvious best shop.

    Thanks,
    K

Lidl/aldi are a good choice if they have any left

All helmet have to meet a standard before being allowed to be sold here.

Halfords also have a wide selection which you can browse on the website

Otherwise a local bike shop would be another good option

Abus do a good range of kids helmets. Some of them have an LED light built into them which is very useful as kids bikes can be a bit small to attach lights to effectively.

I've been able to find these helmets in Dublin city centre in 2wheels on South William St, and MacDonald Cycles on Wexford St.. Other shops may do them too.

Some of the Lidl and Aldi ones also have built in lights and will do the job just as well for half the price. The Abus ones are a bit more stylish, but you do pay for it.
