feel hopeless

I feel I am in a terrible situation in life right now. My exams tomorrow and feeling very unprepared. I'm at the stage where I feel absolutely hopeless about everything I do. What happens is that I find it very hard to concentrate at anything and fall behind. When I try to catch up I find it very difficult to understand what it is needed and cannot figure it out at all. I go to other people for help but that only drags them down as I can't understand their side and they lose out on what's happening. It has resulted in me not being able to understand everyday tasks and I feel completely hopeless at life. I rely on people too much and cannot have a mind of my own.

Can anyone suggest any support for me in terms of how to improve myself or can help me get out of this hole I've dug myself into where I feel worthless. It would be greatly appreciated

    Hey Anonymous...
You are just letting things get on top of you but you aint alone!
Millions of people around the world each year let exams get on top of them only to study in the final hours (or lets be honest, google in the final hours :pac: )

I aint talking through my backside too here. I have three assignments due next week myself. Due Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. The first two I can deal with waffle/rely on experience... but the Thursday one? No waffle. I got to produce but I am pulling it out of my ass as I haven't got a clue about the subject matter :pac:

So don't get worried. There is some what a bit of a con to life in terms of education. In the sense that people love to say their educational accolades. But rarely mention how they winged it in their exams ;)

    Hey OP

what works for me is stepping back, when the situation looks 'hopeless'. Just step out of your own shoes for a second. the pressure of your exams have you on edge, but in a year or so down the line you wont hardly remember this period of your life. The pressure will pass. your results will come in and you will move on woth your life. there are so many different avenues of life that a failure to archive the points target or pass a specific exam is not the end of the world. so don't feel like it is.

Your preparation is just finished, and now you need to get a goods nights sleep and prepare to execute in the exam. Sleep right and eat right. do you have a routine you can fall back on? mine is a big latte and a banana before an exam. Think i read somewhere bananas aid memory recall etc :)

    Good luck.
    X
