Have done the Journey/Midterm double. Was toying with the idea of a big single on journey as he will cope with the drop back to 10f better than his main rival Beautiful romance who he already has the measure of over 12f anyway.

Torn between Deauville, Victory Bond, and Choreographer for the Dante.

    Alfred Hutchinson 3.45 20-1 4 places

Should improve for its one run this year. Won this last year.
Good value for a place at 20-1 with 4 places

    2pts ew 20-1

Backed Duke of Firenze two starts back when he couldn't win a 7 runner Epsom handicap and he goes and does that off the same mark

Couldn't be having Deauville in the Dante, Foundation has his measure on all surfaces and will be suited to the going today. It's a mini Derby today and York is a strange place so I'm just going to enjoy the race. O'Brien's second string Black Sea should run well

Think Journey is opposable today she is short enough, if there were 8 runners Lady Dubai would be a fantastic e/w bet

Chancing Crystal Zvezda (10/1) e/w here.

    I've backed Midterm.

Also backed Curious Carlos at Perth, the hood worked a treat last time and the better ground suits. Has a really high cruising speed and is a really progressive horse. I think he'll prove to be a better horse than 130 starting with a win today.

Had word for him as well. Just didn't have it in him, the drift at the end wasn't positive either.
