They were selling somewhere at 170 last year. Can't remember where, maybe cavan indoor machinery. From Tipperary.....I think

The cheaper alternative, and what I use, is I walk back and forth, back and forth, back and forth between field and the actual fencer.:)

There's this one on ebay. I know nothing about it as i've never bough one but the price looks cheap compared with the prices mentioned above.

For the cost of 2 or 3 isolator switches you can have a gsm one for 20 euro plus a fiver for sim. Think the one the op is talking about is mad money

It looks to be a simple GSM switch in a weatherproof box.

I'm sure you could pick up a cheap switch on Ebay and throw it into a box.

that's grand and cheap but is the fenz on one the only one that u can check is the fench on or off ?
like if u had someone doing the odd milking etc
that wasn't great to remember to plug back in the fench u could always check it urself
where as with the that one u could be turning it on instead of off or vise verse 170 euro isn't much compaired to chaseing herd of cows around silage field!!!

If you text sn0000on it will turn it on and text you back 'state is on.'

That way you know exactly you are turning it on and not off. Ringing is faster though l find.

It's the same as this one.

Also texting sn0000OFF will turn it off and you'll get text 'state is OFF.'
