    Hi everyone

I bought a Peries and there's another plant growing up through it.

I reckon it's some sort of weed because it grows fast.

I would be extremely grateful if you could help

    Thanks In Advance
    Tony

Yes I am torn between willow and buddleia, whichever it is it is a weed, as in, its a plant growing in the wrong place. Either take it back or carefully disentangle the two root systems. Soak the pot, gently remove the weed from the shrub, then plant the shrub immediately and water well. Leave any soil on the roots as far as possible, and put the spare into the hole you have dug.

I thought willow leaves were more elongated.

I'm going to seperate out if I can and let it grow on a bit to see if that makes it any easier to identify.

The native ones that selfseed tend not to have elongated leaves. Probably Goat Willow or Bay Willow, hard to tell yet.
