Ok so I am after plotting out the euros. Getting over and back. Unless you want to be done on flights, you need to be a bit creative. It took me a ridiculous amount of time to work out fly from Bordeaux to everywhere, check prices, then see if those airports fly to dublin and if the fares are ok and layover not too excessive. In the end I just opted to get back up to Paris and get E40 flight back to Dublin, but not after a ridiculously time consuming exploration of other options i.e. flying out of Bordeaux first...

They already work out the best combo for you when fly into and return from same destination and one is cheaper on way over and one on way back, i.e. they would advise two separate bookings, say Ryanair on way over, Aer lingus on way back.

Is there a reason, they wont or dont allow you to search the insane amount of permutations from flying say from bordeaux to dublin, via another airport, with non point to point airlines? I am happy to take the "gamble" with non point to point given the insane savings that can be had...

    Have you tried https://www.google.ie/flights/ ?

It allows you to display separate ticket flights.

Skyscanner will do separate ticket / non-protected but it doesn't search every single combination - seems to only go across what it seems "sensible" even when sensible and budget may not match.

The problem is that flights from anywhere that qualified to France will be dear.
