    Hi guys

We bought a 1960s built council house last year and due to a new baby etc Im only starting to decorate to our tastes now as there was a lot of more important stuff like insulation etc to be done first

The problem is I dont have a massive budget and don't have a clue where to start.

So its the main bedroom and im kinda thinking red accessories curtains etc and a stoney grey colour on the walls mainly because i have a pair of red curtains that i dont want to part with.

Can anyone help with the colour scheme like what colour furniture i should use??

The floor is wooden and is a medium oak

Id love any suggestions you might have

With the red I would suggest, a cappuccino shade of cream. It is warm, both good in day and night light and will look good with the wooden floor. Stay away from the buttery/yellow creams. If your heart is set on grey then go a pale grey, like cornforth white.
