SEPA DD Refund for Irish Water

I applied for a refund a few weeks ago, no sign of it in my account yet. Phoned the bank today to inquire, by the sound of things they *cough* never received my application for the refund and funnily enough the 8 week time limited has now lapsed so I can't apply now. So my cynical self got wondering..did anyone actually…
