Name change on account - query

    Hi, i talked to someone in Irish Water last night, and got my wifes name added to my Irish Water account, so that we could get both of our names on the bill. She said that a letter would be sent in the next 5-7 business days, but also that i would be able to see both of our names on MyWater. 

    I checked this morning, and her name doesn't seem to be there. Should this change go through immediately, or does it take a while?

    Also, if i changed to a paperless bill, would it be possible to get a bill re-issued with both of our names?

    Hi Kiith,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    On your MyWater account, your bills should appear with both of your names, however this can sometimes take a while to process. When your new bill arrives, this should update on the account.

    Regarding your query on paperless billing, the bill may appear as the primary account holder's name. However, we will be more than happy to assist you and we can ensure the bill is addressed to you both.

    If you PM the following details, we can look into this for you straight away:

    - Name;
    - Address;
    - Contact number; and
    - Confirmation that you are the account holder.
