Starting a new business soon as been unemployed for a while.need a van that won't be broke all the time and that won't screw me with fixing it so have started looking to van leasing.
Seems to be a good option but like all things I wonder is there a bad side.
I like the thought of it being new and its maintanance is taken care of so won't have big bills at bad times.handy too to know exactly how much per week I've to pay.
Looking at a Renault master vans.
Going to dealers this week for info but thought I would ask here first.
How do you sort the lease or is it difficult to get.
    What about insurance.
Any info or examples appreciated on what you guys are paying.

hiya you should look into northgate long term hire, im a courier and and a few lads in the depot i work in have switched from owning vans to using them
the benefits seem to be mainly a better tax write off and no mileage penalties and everything else being covered like road tax, doe, tyres and servicing
the cost depends on the type of van you want, my friend is driving a transit for about 650 euro a month excluding vat
there seemed to be no hassle in getting the van from them just a little paperwork
and the best thing with northgate is no long term commitment if the job isnt working out for you you can just hand the van back with no penaltes
personally im paying 1300 a year insurance i know some lads who are paying less and some who are paying a lot more,of course lots of different things go to deciding what you will have to pay so go to a large broker to get a good idea on the insurance first
good luck with the job if you decide to take the plunge
