How far would 1700g of a lamb leg on the bone go

I've to feed a small crowd at the weekend, I've a leg of lamb i got from someone, thought it was bigger. Just weighed it, it's 1700g. That'll hardly stretch to 9 people will it?!

Was going to slow cook it, as most of the gang won't eat pink meat. Would bulking it out with a piece of pork belly work?

1700g is pushing it for a party of 9, don't forget that a large proportion of that weight will also be bone.
I did a 3kg bone out rib roast in the weekend for a party of 7 adults and 3 kids and there was enough for a decent slab of meat for everyone and a small bit left over for sandwiches the next day.
I think you'd need 2 legs to comfortably feed 9 adults personally.

I'd definitely buy a second leg because I find people eat lots of roast lamb. They'll all go back for another slice or two. And if you have any left over, it freezes really well and you can have roast lamb another day without all the effort.

Left over roast, left over roast potatoes, left over wine.
I have heard of these but never actually seen them.:D
