Lads, Which in theory is easier to tow with a car, not 4x4, on grass: a single axle trailer or a twin axle trailer, both trailers having the same load weight??

    A lot of variables there...

Twin axle will spread its load better, and be more balanced, but will provide more rolling resistance and harder to make turns because of the drag effect on the front axle

Single axle more likely to try to sink, and will apply more noseweight onto the car's towbar, but will turn easier behind the car.

    Fwd or Rwd car?

    How much weight?

    Wet or dry grass?

    The choices are endless!

My vote is single axle for lower weights.. but if the ground is wet, then get out and walk
