Hi guys. OK fresh at the biking scene. Got my provisionl licence. I'm 32 and wondering what's the best bike to buy first time for myself? Who will insure me and on what size bike should I go for ?

    All suggestions welcome lol

    Cheers

Default answer: SV650/ Bandit 600/ Fazer 600. Can't go wrong with any of the above as long as it's been looked after.

Try Liberty for the insurance, they are usually reasonable enough for the newbies...

Edit: I mean obviously ring around for quotes, there is only 4 or 5 companies to ring anyway to see who gives the best quote but it will likely be Liberty

Will liberty insure me while I'm waiting to do the ibt?

No. You will need to have completed some form of the IBT to be insurable. Since you are above 24, Practically and monetarily(in the long run) speaking you might aswell go straight for an A licence.
