Advice on where to buy 2nd hand car

Hi, looking for advice on where to go for a second hand car. I know there are so many garages but can anyone recommend somewhere in the Dublin (or surrounding) areas where they had a good experience? Looking to spend approx 9k but finding it so frustrating. You'd swear I was only spending 500! Anywhere I ring its 'ah, I wouldn't have anything in that price range' or else they're trying to sell me something 6 years old with 170+K! Looking for a 1.2 petrol, 5 door, manual - surely that shouldn't be too difficult. Trying to avoid the 'auction' style really large garages with all sorts of 'cut price' names. Am I limiting myself? Have been through all the online websites but its challenging enough when I don't really know what I want. HELP

find the car than worry about who's selling it.

model wise, my choices in that size would be a Ford fiesta or kia too.
