Can anyone recommend a speed writing course?

Hi interested in learning how to speed write (as opposed to shorthand). Pitman training offer a self study 6hr course for €250 which I think is too expensive. Anyone know of a type of speed writing that 1) they have found to be very useful and 2) reasonably priced? Thanks!
