Belt pouches

It's getting warmer and running with my jacket is getting to be a very sweaty affair.
I've belt pouch that is actually designed for hiking, not running, I'm not too happy with it so I was wondering if anyone can recommend another one?

I usually would carry phone, keys, dog treats and bags for dog poop. I don't need anything too bulky, but I would like something that wouldn't bounce as I run. Any suggestions?

When out in the 'wilderness', I use this one, to carry a phone. I'd imagine it would hold most of the stuff you mentioned. Cheap and cheerful.

The pouch is quite small, but stretches, so it holds everything tightly & doesn't bounce at all.

I use SPI Belts for carrying gels, phone whatever else I may need on that particular run.

+1 on a Flipbelt. Ran a marathon with it on, and I use it all the time to carry my phone.

I have a bit of room in a small Camelbak but also got one of these. It has a magnet so snaps to your shorts, plenty of room.

Feels more like a bumbag than a belt with neat pouches. Haven't worn a bumbag since I was a trendy child in the early 90's...

I've one of these too. Not really big enough if you've got a relatively big phone - it's a tight squeeze for my Samsung Galaxy S5.

I use a Flipbelt. They'e now available with a zip for extra security. I find they're comfortable and have enough space for phones, keys, money for taxi home, I mean coffee etc.

I've done 5 marathons with them now, no problems.

They're not waterproof though, so I generally put the stuff in little plastic bags I pick up at Dublin Airport security first...:)

Yep, Karrimor as well, again bought in Heatons for 6 or 7 euros. Has lasted years, one of the first pieces of gear I look for before every run or race. Has seen off challenges from others including an Inov8 waistpack that I should bin, various smaller backpacks etc. Very simple...but doesn't move. It's more like this though...

Has anyone tried a bottle belt? I'm going to be spending a chunk of the summer in quite a hot location so I'd probably want to bring a water bottle out with me (I don't currently).

Saw this one and this one in Sports Direct, but I'm wondering if it or ones like it wouldn't be uncomfortable to run with when full of water?

I don't mind them, at first when they're all full it can be a bit awkward but just keep the belt good and tight. You'll soon get used to them. A necessity on days like today.

I wouldn't bother with that unless you are going off on an unsupported distance event through the wilderness. Certainly no need to be carrying that much kit for a looped run through civilisation.
