    Could be fun for general exploring, knowing a rough direction and distance to your end point but not much else. You're bound to hit a few dead ends en-route every now and again, but still a useful aid. I could actually see it being way more useful hiking.

    It wouldn't surprise me if a V2 with "shortest route" / "quickest route" options became available i.e. it gives you L/R turn in X metres indications to ensure you actually get to your destination in the most appropriate manner possible whilst retaining the "rambler" option that seems to be the only option available in V1.
