Hi all i was involved in an accident late 2013 and engaged the services of a solicitor for legal advice for my personal injury.
So after 2 years a couple of visits to PIAB Dr and my own legal medical report i was assessed for damages of €35000.
Went to collect my cheque to be told I had a bill of €4500!
I didn't accept that bill as I think it was too high and have asked for it to be reviewed. After a bit of research I see that I should have been given a "schedule of fees" which I never received and was told that I had agreed these fees over the phone.
Does anyone else here think these fees are a bit too high?
