Gas boiler in downstairs bathroom

Hi - hopefully one of the many knowledgeable posters on here will know the answer to this one.

I'm in the process of planning a boiler replacement and want to move it onto an external wall into a downstairs bathroom. I've had 2 separate registered installers look at it and one has told me that it's against regs to put a gas boiler in a bathroom, and another has said it's fine.

From my own google search the latest I could see was it would be ok in a cabinet. Anyone know which of these guys are right?

P.S if anyone has any recommendations for someone for boiler replacement in North Dublin I'll gladly take them.
