Fundamental attribution error example

Can anyone give me one really good example of how might the fundamental attribution error may manifest itself in social care work?

From a social care practitioners point of view?

Oh I know what this phenomenon is. I was just looking for a really good example of when this could manifest itself in a work setting for a social care worker. The examples I am coming up with aren't great for an assignment I'm completing.

Well I don't work in social care, but an example from mental health is when clients are 'blamed' for lack of motivation... when in fact demotivation is often a symptom of what's wrong with them. Or 'never comes to appointments' when they are in fact agoraphobic.

Dunno if that's any help. (That's why the google link was to examples of attribution error)
