Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Technical theatre jobs?

    hi I am looking for a career change and what to follow my dream of working full time in theatre.

    I am interested in Lighting but would take any kind of job or even course in this line of work to get me started.

    Seems to be little info out there so any suggestions of where one could look?

    Start by contacting the Association of Irish Stage Technicians http://aist.ie/ re courses, jobs etc - a great resource. You're probably already aware that this work involves antisocial hours, is physically very demanding and poorly paid; just in case you didn't know already.

    Fair enough - it's also amazingly good craic, never repetitive or predictable and sometimes you get to enjoy incredible live performances
