HELPregarding buying smart - non- smart TVs.

Hi, Im pretty sure i will go down the route of buying a basic smart TV.
not a tech guy and guess there will be lots of those on here who might be.
we are a young family- prrice range is less than 400 euros so
an LG 32 inch will do the job i think. mainly for netflix, saorview and occasionally NOW TV.

couple of questions -
1. ANYONE BOUGHT THIS tv ? any opinions? reviews quite good.

2. are harvey norman TV prices excluding VAT?

3.. i dont even have any TV package- so im guessing that as this TV is saorview ready, i wont need a saorview box, just someone to fix the aerial, yes? how much should that cost?

4. are there any other good TVs around or under this price range that would be good for what we need?
im impressed by this model's reviews but always good to hear other opinions!? thanks

Great TV for the price, extremely quick (internal app/phone response), solid picture color. Sound's a bit dull but to be expected

€299 good price someone I know paid €500+ for panasonic 50" recently, which is nearly too big if sitting close.

JVC ok brand too I think. Nearly all the LCD/LED come from one factory anyway, mainly the sound quality accompanying the on screen visuals can be a let down as with some makes.

4K (UHD) on the way soon, prices on those tv's has tumbled over last few years, hence HD price drop. Flagship Sony 4k was €25,000 on launch. :eek:

im pretty sure im down to two TVs....which one would u buy...?more inclined to go sony bravia (just 1 HDMI - can live with that) perhps i coud link it to my sony CMT hifi via composite

Of the two Sony just because of the 100hz video processing but one Hdmi is a bit of a joke. However the JVC does have 3 hdmi (I actually thought JCV stopped making TV's).
Suppose you could demo both panels in PCW (or equivalent Sony model). Don't forget PCW have ex display units they usually flog off around this time of year.
