I'm looking to try out drop bars on my old steel commuter. If anybody has something suitable for a 26mm quill stem please let me know. Preferably shallow/compact drop. Ideally silver but not too fussed. 42 or 44 cm.

Also looking for a pair of brake levers suitable for caliper brakes.

    Dublin based.

I have a pair of deda Newton bars in silver. They are 44cm centre to centre with s normal drop. Very good condition and looking for 20.

I have some levers that might suit

Shimano, SLR, been sitting in the attic for years but in excellent condition. Have two sets, one with black hoods and one with white hoods, see attached picture

I suppose these would work with the Miche Performance calipers on my bike. What would you be looking for them?

I genuinely don't have a clue, make me an offer, I'd be happy to see them getting a new lease of life

Where are you based, I imagine post could be relatively expensive / potentially prohibitive on what is a modest transaction?

Thanks for the offer. How does "normal drop" relate to the advertised Deda geometries? As far as I can tell they seem to label their dropbars as either deep, shallow or anatomic.

Would you take €10 for them? I am in SCD (Deansgrange) and work near the city centre or Dundrum, depending on the day.

€15 and they are yours. Am in Leoprdstown, Sandyford and Stillorgan areas with work two to three times a week, that and in city centre about once a week, and / or Dundrum is not far either so surely a meeting is possible somewhere along the way.

We can exchange details via PM, re arranging a possible meeting, if that price works for you

Just saw your reply now - I'll check exactly what it says on the bars this evening

The bars are 42s and ate actually a deep drop. If any use to you, you can have them for 10.

OK. I'll take them. The main aim is to see how I get on with drop bars in city traffic so I think they'll do the job. I'll PM you to sort out the logistics.
