I've recently been accepted to work for mechanical turk from Ireland, Its great for me as I have health issues and can only work from home. Unfortunately you can only get paid into an amazon.com account which I thought was fine until I realised this meant that I could only order from amazon.com not amazon.co.uk which means I incur very large shipping costs which makes it impracticable to buy from. My only thoughts as to a way round this is to find someone in the U.S who uses amazon regularly offer them 10% off of what they buy in exchange for them purchasing electronic amazon gift cards and sending them to me. I'd still take a hit but it would be reasonable. I thought amazon turk would be an absolute godsend, its terrible pay but would ,over the year, at least cover christmas and birthdays and the odd treat for me, if anyone has any thoughts or ideas about how to be able to use my turk wages in Ireland without losing massive amounts of it on shipping I'd really appreciate it.

Its not that I want gift cards its just an amazon electronic gift card is the only way I can think of to get my turk wages from amazon us to amazon uk
