So I have a 03 1.4vvti Corolla about 2months ago the fuel consumption went way down hill. It was recently serviced. I compression tested it check the injectors checked the coolant temp sensor. The car is running as good as always no black smoke from the exhaust. Plugs were changed and still look good. No lights coming up. Is there anything else to check for thanks

To start, how do you know mpgs are actually way down? By how much?

There are many things that can cause this issue. For instance that the brake calipers are not releasing properly.
Was there recently work on the brakes? A sticky caliper will hold var back as it travels along.
With car on a flat surface and not handbrake on, try pushing it along. This should be fairly easy.
Then after a drive touch each alloy, is one hotter than the others? This would indicate which caliper is not releasing properly.

it gets driven up the country weekly it usually gets half a tank up but now it's taking a full tank maybe a bit more to get up. 100percent sure there not the brakes that was all checked

Hmm ok for that kind of difference there has to be a serious problem somewhere.
Try touching the alloys and see if a caliper is sticking.

As you already checked the thermostat it's not that.

    You did check tyre pressure?
    New tyres?
    Are tyres aligned properly?
    Is oil level correct?
    Coolant level?

    MAF sensor?

    Lambda sensor?

Have you done the maths or are you just watching the gauge?

All tyres are fairly new. Tyre pressure checked regularly. Oil and coolant level is good. Could do with a tracking but it's not that bad

    Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

Edit - check fuel system for leaks too.

From what we checked before no leaks but I'll give it another looking over just in case
