Garmin Vector 2 Powermeter for sale, bought from here in February: http://shop.edelrad.de/en/279-garmin

Condition is as new, had these on a TT bike, very little use, reason for selling is I'm switching to a Power 2 max unit.

Asking €750, for collection in D18. Will post pictures later.

Have receipt and original box/manuals etc. I have a Power2max on a Rotor 3d crankset on a road bike at the moment, I'm changing the stock crankset that's on my TT bike, I've decided to get the same Power2max/ Rotor 3d combo for the TT bike and ditch the Garmin, I originally went for the Garmin as it's easy to swap between bikes, I don't need to do so anymore and seeing as I'm getting a new crankset anyway I've decided I may as well get the Power2max.

Thanks. I need to think about it. I was keeping an eye out for a second hand vector 2s so this would be a bit more than I was hoping to spend.

Yes it's the double sided, there's a powermeter on each pedal.

Will include a new pair of Look cleats with this, grey ones with 7 degree float.

No idea about the warranty, apparently once I delete the unit from my Garmin account you can add it to yours and any warranty transfers automatically, but if necessary I've no issue dealing with Garmin if anything arises, I've had to return 2 edge units to them in the last few years and found them great to deal with, even out of warranty.

I read various reviews that mentioned drop outs in power readings that almost put me off buying them, there's been a fair few firmware upgrades since any reviews were written which seem to have fixed any of the early issues, the lesson I learned was that it's essential that these are installed correctly with a torque wrench. If they're not torqued properly the readings can drop, the left/right pedal balance readings go out the window as well but once they're torqued correctly I've had no issues. Also anytime you transfer them between bikes you have to reset the calibration and install angles, only takes a few seconds, you pedal between 80-90rpm for about 100m and it's all done, the head unit walks you through it.

    Cool,
One more question, did you register the unit for warranty since purchase and is the torque wrench included in the sale?
    Cheers

I registered it on purchase to download the latest firmware (Ant+ key is included to download updates). I'll include a Draper torque wrench if asking price is met.

Statler, I had a look at what I can afford and I can't spend more than 500. I am happy to pay that but I know it is too low for you. Good luck with the sale.
