Golf clubs for high handicap players

    Just looking for some advice...

I have only started playing golf and my handicap is 28.

I have a set of Wilson staff irons which I use.

I have the Aeroburner driver, 3w and 5w.

I am looking to buy a couple of hybrid/rescue clubs to replace the long irons. Would anyone have any idea what brand to get.

The catch: I want to buy online. I spend a fortune recently on the Aeroburners and I haven't got the same type of cash to waste.

I found some R15s online for a good price. From one article I read it said they would really be for low handicap players? Would that be correct?

Also, has anyone used the Homna range of clubs? They have 16, 19, 22 and 25 degree hybrids at a decent price.

What about the Ping G30? I can get two of them for about 80 quid.

Mizuno JPX is also a decent price.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

Is there anywhere close to you where you can hit a few before buying?

Homna and 2x g30s for 80 quid, I think I know where you are seeing these, word of warning, they are fake and complete rubbish, like swinging a tin can on the end of a broom.

I second that, started myself at 20 and used these, love them, although some days I want to f***k them over the course :D
