Anywhere that would give me anything for my 14 year old 4 pot? Have owned from new but has a long list of minor issues that means NCT is too costly to pass.

Doesn't sound too bad really. Does it have service history with it? How is the bodywork and interior?

If the body and interior is nice I would say someone would give you 6-700 for it.

Get some nice well lit pictures of the car when it's clean. Write a good honest description of the good and bad points with an asking price of 750.

That's what i would do anyway :) Done deal is your best bet but you might as well make an adverts ad too.

105,000 miles?? The sodding thing is practically new. The only thing there that might upset me is the oil-leak.

I have 2 less doors and and extra year on you, but have rectified most of your list over the last 5 years. Not major work and the oil leak could be the oil filter gasket.

Suits me to get smaller car that cheaper to run. Don't want to repair plus pay the higher motor tax at present

Has the expansion tank cracked yet ?

My e46 had all those problems except the airbag light.

All relatively easy fixes., except for the elusive oil leak.

Btw, the airbag light might be the connection under the seat for the seat airbags.

As said, pop it up on DD for 100. I'll snap it up!

    That'd be a bargain at €100.

    Surely worth in around €1k!!

Broken elec window switch - Simple fix for €10 or so.
Airbag light on. Prob wire issue - More than likely seat occupancy, Get a plug on eBay for €15 or so.
1 shock leaking - Fairly simple, Rear are very very easy replace.
Play on front drop links - Again simple.

Worth doing the above atleast and advertising honestly.

    I completely agree.

And as for the oil leak... unless the nct actually see it dripping, it'll pass.

OP you car probably has less problems than the average 02 beemer on done deal. Try and get what you can for it to put towards the new motor.
