Long running CHR driven nightly music show The Pulse airs its last show tonight.

The show was fairly unique as most other ILR stations aired country music/repeats at 10pm at night weekdays, and it was a breath of fresh air. The show's presenter, Ciaran O'Regan, did a very good job on it also and will surely be snapped up by another station.

yeah most rural ILRs dropped their token youth show when the regional youth stations came along in the mid=late 00s

It used to be great with a lovezone type hour was I always enjoyed if I picked it up. Haven't listened in long while though found it to be all over the place and Student radio sounding

Has the show been dropped from the schedule or just the presenter?

What/Who is going in there instead?

I know Radio Kerry are changing their lunchtime news from 30 to 45 mins with Talkabout going on until 3 so I presume their afternoon show is back to 2 and a half hours also?
