How long is a piece of string? Especially since you give ZERO details about the property or its current state!

Sorry. I wasn't thinking! The house is an old farm house hasn't been lived in over 20years, Walls appear structurally okay, will need to be gutted, roof, windows, electrics, plumbing, basically back to the walls. I don't know what size it is apart from the fact its a two storey house. we are only considering buying it so I don't know much

Sounds expensive and I wouldn't be sure over structurally sound walls.

Without having at least an engineers survey done on it, it could be a money pit. At Least with a new build you know from get go what your getting.
